View of 422 State Street c.1940. Photo taken as part of the Works Progress Administration and New York City Tax Department collaboration to collect photographs of most buildings in the five boroughs of New York City. 1979
Ruben Windmiller purchases the property from Atlantic State Development Corp.
1980
Mr. Windmiller, the ‘Sponsor,’ makes alterations and necessary renovations to the building to convert it into a co-op with 20 units thereby establishing State Hill Housing Corp.
